Hi, when the pforiles are butted up, it is a good idea to run the diffuser over the join to disguise it, you would then use a smaller diffuser section in a different location butted up to this one.

Hi, Yes this would work for replaceing spotlights and depending on the strip used can easily match or even surpass the light output of spotlights.

Hi, These profiles simply butt up to each other when installing, there is no requirment for a connector piece.

Hi, All of our profiles (with the exception of the internal and external corner plaster in profiles) are 2m in length

What is the best way to fix the profile screws or staples

Hi, You can use either for this, although we would usually suggest screwing, thanks ^Shaun

Can these be installed in bathrooms

No problem at all. Building regulation still require that you use an IP65 LED Strip though.

Make sure that the power supply is located outside the bathroom.

Would these be suitable to run a Philips Hue strip in?

Our recessed aluminium profile comes in two metres lengths however, they can be cut down or butted up to create longer linear lengths.

Hi, I'm afraid we don't stock corner connectors for this LED profile however creating corners is fairly simple. We recommend cutting a mitre using a dropsaw. For best results put the diffuser in place first and cut both together. Hope that helps!
