Smartphone Interface
A smart Interface for control of all strip types which operates with both Wi-Fi & Wireless RF.
Once connected between your power supply and LED strip, this interface can be used with the free Tuya app (download required) to control your LED Strip either directly from your Smartphone or via Alexa / Google Smartspeakers.
Alternatively you can use an optional remote control or add a wireless wall switch.
Control Available:
On/Off - All Strips
Dimming - All Strips
White Colour temperature change - Adjustable white only
Colour Change - RGB and RGBW strip only
Within the Tuya app are pre-programmed scenes for work/ reading etc, you can also create your own scenes to suit your needs, these can be renamed for easy recall through the app or via voice control.
There is also a music function through the app, which will make the colour of the strip change to the beat of the music (RGB + RGBW only)
You can rename the interface in the app for easy recognition and home set-up and also for voice control.
Once connected to the app, you can then also link the interface/app to your smart speaker/ Device. (compatible with Alexa/ google Home) once added you will be able to ask your smart device to control on/off/ dimming/ colour change etc.
Each output channel can handle 3A and there are channels to allow this unit to work with all types of LED Strip - Single Colour, Adjustable White or RGB/RGBW Colour Changing.
Important : This is NOT a power supply - it connects between the power supply and LED Strip.

I would like to be able to use a WT5 controller, but wired on the same circuit as regular recessed spots, with a regular 1 gang 2 way wall switch. Will the WT5 controller lose its syncing with my smart phone / need re-syncing every time the wall switch is used?

The interface has internal memory so will automatically reconnect when the power is restored, it will also return the the last used setting used before the power was removed.
