You can definitely buy cheaper but you will not buy better - ProStrip has been proved over the years in airports, retail stores and hotels - it works - and keeps on working.

Reliable - for the long term.

Developed by us in the UK specifically for demanding, professional installations, ProStrip120 is designed for very long life and predictable, safe, performance. Unlike lower cost competitors, it uses a triple thickness PCB which reduces heat build up and allows the strip to work over longer lengths, reliably. You can achieve a 10m maximum run length with little visible voltage drop from the beginning to the end. 

Higher specification components.

With 120 LED chips per metre this means a more even light with less spotting, whilst for long term reliability we have used a higher grade LED chip with an L70 figure is > 36000 hours (that is 70% of original output after 36000 hours).  We use a high grade LED chip with gold internal connection wires in place of the lower cost alloy wires - they may look the same as other chips but it's the quality of the materials that provides the long term performance. The result is that the chips retain 96% of their original lumen output after 8000 hours of continuous use - cheaper chips will have lost up to 30% of their output over the same period.

Compatible with control systems.

Fully dimmable, Tradestrip120 operates perfectly with the HaloLED control system to provide great room wide effects which are easy to control through wall switches, remote controls or via your smartphone (iOS or Android). It can also be controlled by 0-10v dimming systems or by lighting control systems such as Lutron or Crestron (subject to adding the correct interface). 

Installation

TradeStrip120 can easily be soldered - there are solder points every 50mm. Cable should be stripped and tinned to 3mm. Use a minimum 0.5mm section cable (22AWG). After soldering the joint should be heat shrunk to prevent and short circuiting.
