Yes. To cut, a sharp pair of scissors or a Stanley blade will cut LED strip lights with ease. You must only cut at the pre-defined cutting points shown as a black line across the width of the LED tape, with copper end points so that you can easily use solder or Grippas to connect around corners, or a power supply, for example.Each product description also states the interval between the cutting points.Do NOT cut outside of the designated cutting points.
This is up to you and your individual requirements. Typically, utilising profile helps to:- Better diffuse light- Decrease any visible spotting- Easy to wipe clean, i.e., when utilising under kitchen cabinet, for example.- Gives a degree of protection to the LED strip.
