What lengths do the light strips come in? I want 4x 1.5m lengths to connect to a 24v battery supply, what would be the best method to do this?
Hi, the strips are sold by the metre, but are supplied in complete lengths, for example if you order 5 metres, you will receive a 5 metre complete length. for your requirement you would be best to order 6m of strip and 4 solder free power connectors, you can then cut the strip to the lengths that you require (strip is cuttable every 50mm)

What is the IP rating of this product, please?

Hi, can the No Spotting Line10 | 4000k | 24v | 9w £8.40 be cut into lengths on site? I am looking to buy this for underneath kitchen wall units. I would need to cut to lengths of 1x 800mm, 1x 900mm & 1x 2700mm to sit under the units. I would be looking to wire the 3 separate runs fed from 1 driver is this feasible? Many Thanks Chris Morris
Hi, Yes the Line10 can be cut every 50mm so your lengths would be fine, with regards to the stris back to the driver, yes this is possible, I would recommend the 75w 24v power supply for this.

Do you have a strip that is mutilple colours that can be plugged in the mains
Hi, All of our strips are low voltage strip and therefore will require a separate power supply to bring the 240v down to the relevant requirement.
-
Does this require a driver?
Hi,
Yes it will need a driver and any components you will require for controlling it.

what is the depth of the Seamless8 led strip please?
Hi,
The depth of the Seamless 8 LED strip is 2mm. -
Dear LEDspace, I'd like to add four 135cm-long strips of display lights inside a large wooden display cabinet with a glass front. What is the width and thickness of the diffuse-light LED strip, product code NS-LINE10-40? Does it require an aluminium heat sink backing strip or can I just stick it to the wooden frame? There's no ventilation inside the cabinet; does it get hot after prolonged use? Could all four strips be connected, each via 1.5m of wire, to a single power supply box, with a 3m wire from the box to the plug?
Thank you for your enquiry.
With this strip you will not see any issues with regards to over heating, however we always recommend using aluminium profiling for heat sink and extented protection of the strip.
The strip can get warm but again it will not cause you any issues.
It does have adhesive backing so you could just apply the strips to the surface.
And you can wire four lengths in parallel to the power supply and attach a UK plug to power supply. -
Where do you cut the Line10 40 seamless LED strip?
Hi,
the strip can be cut every 50mm at the copper solder point, you will see a black line down the centre of this point, this is where you should cut.
